Ray Perez began his musical career without the help of any record company. His first recording was paid for by himself when he arrived in Caracas from Maracaibo and with the germ of the group Los Dementes in development. No label wanted his production, but with infinite perseverance and immense love for music, his projects began to see the light, with an energy that will accompany him to this day. The days came in which he would become a coveted musician for several record companies, he signed a contract with Velvet, RCA Víctor also awaited his turn. After a trip to New York, CBS/Columbia made him a proposal, from which the Casabe Group emerged. Together with this group (or we could say that under this new name), Ray Perez, his orchestra and some brilliant guests, would record 2 extraordinary LPs that were finally published under the Sony Music label.
