Los Impala are considered one of the first Venezuelan rock bands. In 1964 they promoted the Venezuelan pop musical movement in Caracas together with the groups Los Supersónicos, Los Claners, Los Darts and Los Dangers.
Los Impala recorded eight albums, together with Los Supersónicos (with six productions) being the Venezuelan groups that recorded the most albums of According to the book “The history of rock in Venezuela” by the musicologist Eddio Piña. Of his productions, it is possible to highlight the fact of having released an album in two languages (Spanish and English) with the Name of “Los Impala y su Música”, his most successful album “Los Impala en Europa” and his latest album called Impala Syndrome. , which, although it did not have the impact of previous releases, showed great advances at the compositional level.
